Calvary Baptist offers boys athletics in soccer, basketball, and baseball at the Varsity and Middle School Levels.
Our varsity soccer program is coached by Joe Crumlish. Joe has played soccer internationally and we are honored to have him bring his experience and expertise to our program, a program that has ten league titles. Joe has over 54 years experience as either a player, trainer, or coach, and has been the head coach here at Calvary for the last 6 years. His love and excitement for the game and the young people he has the privilege to coach is evident. Our middle school soccer program is coached by Justin Harbin, who is a graduate of Northland Baptist Bible college, where he played soccer at the collegiate level. Justin brings a love for the game and does a great job teaching the fundamentals to his players. He is entering his 2nd year of coaching at Calvary.
Our varsity basketball program is coached by Walt Zamroz. Walt has 28 years of coaching experience in the AAU, high school and college levels. He is entering his 3rd year here at Calvary. Walt has held hundreds of camps over the years, both here in the United States and also abroad. His passion is to teach the game to young people, and he does that very well. He oversees a program that holds 15 league titles. Our middle school basketball program has been equally successful, having 8 league titles. The coaching situation is currently undecided.
Our varisty baseball team is coached by Tom Smith. Tom is entering his third year as head coach and has been a part of the baseball program here at Calvary for 10 years total. Tom brings a great knowledge of the game and a love and patience to teach it. Our middle school baseball team is entering its third year of existance, and is coached by Dan Jacques. Dan played baseball for 4 years in college, receiving numerous awards during his playing days. Dan does a great job teaching the fundamentals of the game and stirring a desire by his players to play the game hard.
